Discussion on Muscles used in The Hundred from face book

One hundreds with all modifications and variation

 Here's how
1. You will choose your option of levels given below
2. There is no pulsing with arms as in the traditional hundreds
3. BREATHING no short breath it is a slowly breath in for 5 and slow out for five... See More
What this will work
By keeping the head down you will connect to the T.A this will be more demanding on the T.A than the original method.
I find allot of my clients really like this than the traditional method, where you are beating the arms with short breaths making it unstable for the general Pilates client!

Hi farncesca
I really like your views I was waiting for some one to give this answer.
Here is something for you to think about
Looking at the pic above in the set up for "One hundred" you see I have lifted my head and shoulders.
So this has not only activated my T.A, but my upper rectus is now in play, as it is the upper rectus that causes flexion in th upper trunk! What do you think ?... See More
I will give you a isolation alternative of the One hundred with pic that only activates the T.A!! its a great alternative and challenging
